The analysis of data of five National Parks has shown that possibilities of wildlife tourism is yet to be tapped thorough infrastructure development and  eco–tourism.

It is also needed to be studied if excessive pressure of tourists in  Kaziranga National Park would have any impact on the faunal species of the park, as only 15 per cent of the entire Park area is open for tourists.

The steady flow of domestic  as well as foreign tourists of Nameri National Park can be attributed to the approach to tap the potentialities through eco-tourism. Such approaches can be extended to other National Parks, and wildlife sanctuaries as well.
